The annual  festive calendar of Adzeneta begins on January 5, when their Majesties The Kings of the Orient arrive to Adzeneta in order to distribute illusion and gifts to children and adults. The most impatients ones can approach the "Serreta la Creu" (next to the football field) from where they will be able to see the kings  go down with their pajes and porters. Once in the town, the kings Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar are heading towards the birth. It is the moment of the Adoration to the Child Jesus, to continue with the traditional ride that accompanies the kings on the streets of the town. The pajes called "the negrets", are those in charge of giving the children their gifts, using long stairs to reach the balconies.
