Cava de Sant Blai - Bocairent

Partially excavated in the rock, the cellar of Sant Blai opens its entrails. Bocairent City Council has acquired the snow well and has prepared it for your visit. It is accessed by a drainage tunnel and immediately we feel the freshness of the site, making us imagine the purpose of the place. We are in the heart of the well, approximately 12 meters deep that were totally covered by stored snow, between layers of straw for conservation, before being transported. A series of panels explain in more detail the whole process about snow, as well as the business that was made of it.
