Esparto - Atzeneta d'Albaida

Esparto has been one of the engines in the economy of the town, practically since the beginning of Atzeneta. We can appreciate this craft in the Museum of Handicraftsby visiting one of the esparteros masters who still remain in the village to remember the value of handcrafted things well done. We still use bags and carrybagsespadrilles, for example.
