It was supplied at the end of the 18th century and stands out for its constructive simplicity. The interior shows a nave covered with a barrel vault, reinforced by arches resting on buttresses and four intermediate chapels. Highlights in all the set of the facade the voussoir door and without decoration, that was restored the year 1928. The bell tower that now is on the door of access to the temple, replaced a bell tower previous of two bodies by the reform realized in the building the year 2005. The town of Pinet suffered the consequences of the expulsion of the Moors, and the year 1664 accounted for only 20 inhabitants. This fact caused that the church of the town was on the jurisdiction of the convent of Dominicans of Llutxent until the disentailment of the year 1835.
