The museum is heir of a Cultural centre of the Farmer, an initiative of Francisco Ferri (1968) seconded by Vicent Vidal and Pepe Espí (1970-1973). Conscious of the step of the traditional agricultural society at the global society, collected some 600 peceses, dailys and of ancient jobs.

The Commonwealth of Albaida Valley acquired the collection (1994) and the City council furthered the building of the house. Remodelled by last time at 2014, at cooperation with the Valencian Museum of Ethnology, exhibits a sample of parties, traditions, heritage and jobs of the Albaida Valley. The museum is organised in 6 ambits: The territory lived. Around a market, symbol of the social and economic relations, present the most characteristic activities: the cattle raising, the transport, the communications and the trade of the snow. Time of party. Time of work. A big image of a street permits us to show a big part of the festive universe of the Albaida Valley. It treats the different conception of the time among the societies of agrarian base, bound at the natural cycles, and of industrial type, governed by a mechanical time. Hands and machines. At this zone it is shown the activities related with the transformation of the feedstocks to produce the objects utilised at the daily life. The presence of two fixed elements -the shaft and the bank, permits to treat the motif of the water at the domestic sphere, exposing a rich ensemble of ceramic containers of the collection of the museum. The past of the Museum. The sample also pretends being a homage at the previous works realised by persons that collected objects and mounted the first samples. Years later a squad of professionals designed an exposition based on a more innovative and radical criteria.
