ATZENETA D'ALBAIDA
It stands out for the picturesque urban nucleus where the narrow and long streets intermingle, with important monuments such as: the church of San Juan Bautista from the 18th century, decorated with Baroque motifs. The hermitage of Cristo del Calvario, built in 1833 on an old sanctuary from the year 1709. The different ceramic devotional panels from the s. XVIII. The six public laundries connected in the "Port" canal. This canal is the traditional system of water supply to the population. Also noteworthy is "the snow cave above", from where you can see the old Diego's corral and "the snow cave below", just 100 meters from the "la Solana" recreational area, from where the visitor can enjoy good shade and cold water.
Special attention is given to artisan crafts, such as stone carving and the making of all kinds of esparto grass. As for gastronomy, the “fabioles”, loaves, plantains and rice stand out.
