Heretat de Taverners was built on the old premises of the old house, a building that we faithfully restored and that dates back to 1667.
The production of wine on the farm is documented since the seventeenth century, and we have been replanting the vineyards to its full extent, currently occupying an extension of more than 30 ha, trellis.
We decided to maintain and defend the autochthonous varieties of the region such as Monastrell and Garnacha Tintorera.
The Graciano grape was planted as an experimental variety from the north, with great success in results, making us the first to grow the Graciano in southern Spain.
The soils change from poor and sandy in the higher parts of the farm to a larger and more productive clay in which we work with vegetal cover to achieve the desired grape production.
