Ca les Senyoretes has been one of the most important manor houses in the town of Otos. In the mid-nineteenth century belonged to the landowner Celestino Alfonso, descendant of a local lineage that dates back to the repopulation of 1611, after the expulsion of the Moors. Celestino bequeathed it to his son Baldomero, who married in 1888 with the rich heiress Isabel Olivares (of the Casa Grande). Baldomero and Isabel had two daughters, Teresa and Isabel, the first one died, widowed and without children, of 92 years, the second one died, single, of 99 years old. Despite being the direct heirs of two of the most important fortunes of the town, Isabel and Teresa (Las Señoritas) retained very austere food habits, which gave them a long and healthy life.

Our rooms: We have four rooms located on the first floor. These are the most stately, all with period furniture and private balconyterrace, equipped with central heating, air conditioning, full bathroom, free Wi-Fi and seating areas. On the second floor, the old platform, we have two rooms with a decoration that mixes the style of the house with more modern furniture. They share a bathroom, ideal for a familygroup of friends.

In the restaurant Ca las Senyoretes you can try a variety of typical Valencian dishes. You can enjoy the comforts of the XXI century inside their rooms, set in another era, all very spacious and bright. You can also enjoy the terrace that makes balcony throughout the Sierra del Benicadell.

OTOS, currently has a Route-Itinerary Tourist-Cultural Sundials of great interest. The Basic Project consists of the execution of 8 solar watches by renowned plastic artists and Valencian gnomonists. This large-scale project could be completed, in large part, thanks to the contribution of many of the villagers, who have wanted to participate, building sun-clocks on their facades, watches that tell us a bit about the personal peculiarities of the inhabitants of the houses. It must also be said that, in Ca les Senyoretes, we have a collection of pocket sundials as well as a sample of 7 sundials with all the ways of measuring time throughout history and unique models in the world a sundial for the blind.

Beach and mountain: Gandia and the nearest beaches are 30 minutes away by car. Otos is at the foot of the Sierra del Benicadell, the top of which 1100 m. of height, it is accessible through an easily practicable path. The park of the Sierra de Mariola is located a few km. of the town, and we also have many paths through our term to enjoy a day of nature.
