The handmade forge uses only simple and manual instruments such as anvils, hammers, reamers, stamping machines, mallets, pliers and punches. At present the forging works have gone from being used only as construction elements (grills, balconies, doors, railing) to be incorporated into the houses as part of the domestic furniture (shelves, table tops, magazine racks, wine rack). In the Valencian Community and in the Albaida Valley, the use of wrought iron bars, as an element to protect windows in the construction of houses is something very characteristic and common in our architecture.
