Cellar los Frailes - Fontanars dels Alforins

A winery with a long family tradition committed to growing grapes and making wine since 1771, located in the wonderful place of Els Alforins, in the province of Valencia, 80 km from the Mediterranean Sea, 600 meters above sea level. Our philosophy is to elaborate wines that reflect the particularities of our terroir, focusing on the observation of our vineyards, applying innovative and experimental cultivation techniques together with a severe ion of plots that lead us to define wines from pruning. Focused on the reconversion of all our vineyards in organic farming, we have tried to recover and pamper our native Monastrell variety, a special monastrell of Mediterranean terroir expression. The result is wines that become a sensorial experience, wines that reflect a blessed valley for the cultivation of the vine, wines with the personality of a family delivered with passion and dedication to the world of wine
