The Pou Clar is the most important river area of the municipality and houses important natural and scenic values. The Clariano River rises right there and in its first meters it is followed by wells dug by the water on calcareous rock forming a singular landscape with rounded shapes and calm sheets of water. The strong connection of this place with the population of Ontinyent has meant that each well has a name, which from top to bottom are called "Pou dels Esclaus", "Pou Clar", "Pou Gelat", "Pou de la Reixa", "Pou Fosc" and "Pou dels Cavalls". The good accessibility allows us to walk along its shore enjoying the contrast of the colors of the rock, the water and the oleanders, and also of a revitalizing bath in summer in the coolest waters around.

Walking. The closest car park is to the Ontinyent indoor pool; Another option is the Ontinyent University Campus car park. Both are free. Then you will have to travel approximately two kilometers to reach the Pou Clar area.

Cycling. You can access with your bike. The Pou Clar has a parking point for bicycles

Bus. On weekends in July and August, the Ontinyent Town Hall provides a free bus service that will take us from the Sports Center to the vicinity of Pou Clar.

The accesses by the scale, by Galindo and by the ramp will remain closed. It can only be accessed by the path of l'Alba

Accessibility: Natural space not adapted to people with reduced mobility.

How to arrive:

• On footby bicycle. You have to take the road to Llombo (on the street with the same name). This road is crossed by the West round from where we continue until we reach the Alba factory. At this point we turn to the right until we find the path of the Alba, which on the side of the house of the same name, will take us to the Pou Clar, surrounded by carob trees, pitas and the profile of a ravine. This route is not marked.

• By carmoto. We arrive very easily taking the CV-81 road between Ontinyent and Bocairent. About 2 km from the urban nucleus we will find the junction of the road in the direction of Fontanars del Alforins. Right at this point there is a parking area from where you can access the place.

What can you do: This area is very close (500 meters) to the beginning of the PR V-121 trail that reaches the urban area of Bocairent in less than an hour. We can also walk along this path to the point we want, surrounded by rocks, windmills, vegetation and the occasional noise of water from the barranc dels Tarongers. From the Pou dels Cavalls in the lower part of the place, we can take some stairs that will take us to the pine forest of Galindo, a place with tables under pines and holm oaks and drinking water where where you can have a snackeat.
