Spectacular route of extreme beauty and singularity by the Umbria of the Benicadell (emblematic mountain called “Penya Cadiella” in the Lay of the Cid poem). The castle of Carbonera was an Arab fortress that was conquered and reconquered by Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar from where he watched and controlled the four cardinal points.
