At this stage we stop by the town of Aielo de Malferit, here you will find wicker, basketry and liquor sales.

The articles made with wicker are: baskets, breadbaskets, cabinets, baskets for storing eggs, trunks, armchairs, armchairs ...... There are three types of wicker: the wicker called "Churro", the wicker of American origin and, for last, the wicker acquired in Guadalajara, Cuenca and Teruel (of high quality). To make the piece, firstly, the base of the structure (eddy) is made, then the pillars are placed and finally, the braid-shaped meshes are created. You can buy these products from José Aparici (96 236 03 33) and Artesanos Reunidos (96 290 40 79).

The Aielo de Malferit artisan liquor factory dates from 1880. The factory belonged to the Mompó family, until 1971, when it was acquired by Juan Micó, the current owner.

The traditional recipes and formulas of the ancestors result in exquisite liqueurs, syrups and aniseed with an artisan flavor. The liquor "Kola-Coca Nut" has a special mention, since the owners assure that the current Coca-Cola soft drink comes from them. In 1949, the American company acquired the patent for its liquor from the Aielo factory (96 236 00 07).
