First stage of the Cyclist Tour that will take us to Bocairent from the Ontinyet Tourist Office located in the Palau de la Vila. Is a route full of surprises such as the Pou Clar, the Hermitage of Christ and the descent of Calvary to the medieval town of Bocairent, one of the most beautiful towns in the Region of Valencia. To complete a tour that may be short for a day, the stage has been extended by Mariola in order to know this part of the less known and more friendly, such as the hermitage and Pla de Santa Bárbara, the Font Mariola and the camping of the same name. The population of Bocairent deserves a close visit, as does the Palau de la Vila de Ontinyent. The stage faces two important climbs: that of the Sierra de la Ombria to Bocairent and the later, although somehow softer, to the Sierra Mariola, the latest, inevitably by asphalt.
