The wineries of Los Pinos winery, located over 60 hectares in length, on a soil with a sandy-loam texture, with a noble varietal amplitude, conform to the ecological purposes pursued. Combining production, health and varietal quality within the context of Organic Agriculture and EU Agriculture is a slow process; the environment is respected and the agro-environmental impact in each plot is valued, depending on the type of varietal, the density of plantation, the way of driving, the arrangement of the rows, the contour lines, the thresholds of illumination, the evacuation and filtration of rainwater, the subsequent cultivation and maintenance of the soil and vineyards. All this contributes to the best fructuation of each plant in optimal conditions.
These premises lead us to a reasonable and sustained approach, grouping by varietals and ages, seeking the balance between youth and wine expression. The type of conduction in trellis in simple cord is practiced, all in dry land. Nowadays, it has vines from a productive year to more than 20 years, conjugating in local varietal red grapes such as Monastrell, other outsiders with good local acceptance such as Tempranillo and Garnacha, a third group of international prestige such as the Cabernets Franc and Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot Among the white varietals, the objective is to combine freshness and aromas with Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Mouscat petit grain and Verdil.
